Martha Frances Loosier, 95, of Athens, AL passed away on January 29, 2026. Visitation will be February 6, 2026 from 9:00am-10:00am with service to follow at 10 in our chapel. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her parents, AL and Ethel Nichols; husband, Vonnie Lee Loosier; brothers, Joel Deward Nichols and Richard Lilborn Nichols; sisters, Lyda Mae Nichols Reynolds, Hazel Marie Oliver, and Wanda Louise Thompson.
Survived by her brothers, Donald Eugene Nichols and Michael Glenn Nichols; sisters, Carolyn Joyce Springman, Opal Lee Duran, Joan Elizabeth Holliman, Ethel Evon Kerns, and Barbara Ray Nichols; numerous nieces and nephews.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
