Bennett David “B.D.” Little, 79 of Sumiton, passed away Thursday January 29, 2026.
He was preceded in death by his mother Eloise Little, father Bennett M. Little, Jr., daughter in law Vikki Little, sister and brother-in-law Brenda and Bobby Adams, grandparents George and Hester Barnett, Bennett M. and Mary Little, and father and mother-in-law Charles (Dood) and Josephine Combs.
B.D. is survived by the love of his life, his wife Brenda Combs Little, son Michael D. Little, granddaughter Lauren Little, brother Larry (Linda) Little, brother-in-law Terry Paul (Sharon) Combs, brother-in-law Tommy (Linda) Combs, nephews Scott Little and Matthew Combs, nieces Ashley Combs Chambers and Sara Combs Lone, and all of his friends a Horse Creek Golf Course and or traveling buddies.
He was married 57 years to his best friend and love of his life, Brenda.
He was a 1964 Dora High School graduate. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran, having served in the 9th Infantry Division at Mekong Delta 1 Bearcat Saigon the year of 1967. He received several medals for his service.
He was an avid golfer. He always said he played on every day that ended in “Y”. He coached Youth and Senior (15–18-year-olds) League Baseball.
He was a retired boiler maker. He loved to travel to Gatlinburg with our dear friends. He loved his family dearly!
The family will welcome friends from 5:30pm until 8:00pm, Tuesday, February 3 at New Horizon Chapel.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday,
