Glenn M. Black, 85, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026. Visitation will be Sunday, February 1, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Monday, February 2, in the funeral home chapel beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Larry Kilpatrick and Charles “Bubba” Hester officiating. Interment will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Glenn was a member of Tuscumbia Church of Christ and a veteran of the Alabama Army National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Mary Black; sister, Martha Powers; and sister-in-law, Betty Black.
Glenn is survived by his children, Paige Black (Chris), Jennifer Black, and Brad Black (Celeste); siblings, Ann Fuller (Lomax) and James “Jimmy” Black (Maxine); grandchildren, Abigail, Addie, and Davis Black; brother-in-law, James “Bo” Powers; and a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Pallbearers will be Greg Black, Dean Murray, David Fuller, Steve Lewis, Doug Walker, and Monty Merryman. Larry Daniel, Charles “Bubba” Hester, James Lindsey, Mark Goins, Chris Black, and Terry Lenz will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family would like to offer special thanks to the nurses and staffs of Cottage of the Shoals and Amedisys Hospice, and to Dr. Robert Dickson and the staff of Medical Associates.
