Robert Carlton Fisher, age 69, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, in Ripley, TN. Robert was born on March 15, 1956, to the late Anthony and Roberta Fisher of Ripley, TN. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on February 2, 2026, at St. Paul Cemetery on Durhamville Rd. with Lora Jean Gowan officiating.
Robert lived a dedicated life to family, friends and community. A lifelong resident of Lauderdale County, Robert was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Franklin Anthony Fisher; and his daughter, Emily Katharine Fisher.
Robert served in the Army National Guard which included Operation Desert Storm in 1991. He was a very proud American and willing to defend her at any cost. He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
Robert was a deeply devoted and loving parent whose greatest joy was his daughter, Emily. From sports, to hunting, to boyfriends, Robert dedicated countless hours and patience for Emily to be the best at what she was doing. He was always present and always involved. Robert was an avid Tennessee fan. He cheered passionately and proudly. Robert loved big and gave his heart freely and wasn’t afraid to let you know how much you meant to him. His loyalty and unmistakable love will be felt forever by all who were blessed to know him.
The family requests memorials go to the Emily K. Fisher Memorial Scholarship Fund, 111 W. Sunset Circle, Brownsville, TN 38012. All services and arrangements are under the direction and care of Garner Funeral Home of Ripley.

I’m so saddened by the loss of my dear friend. I rejoice that he is reunited with Emily and Frank. He has missed them so. Rest in peace sweet guy. I’ll miss you. And I’ll even throw out an occasional Go Vols! just for you.
