Shirley Andrews Derryberry, age 89, of Thompson’s Station, Tennessee, formerly of Lewisburg, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at her residence in Thompson’s Station.
She was born June 2, 1936, in Maury County, Tennessee, to the late Marvin and Lucille Pinkston Andrews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Edwin Derryberry and her daughter Pam Hollingsworth.
She is survived by her daughter, Amy (Bob) Poff of Franklin; four grandchildren, Kate Hollingsworth (Austin Stahly) of Bristol, England, Will (Leslie) Poff of Colorado Springs, CO, Abby Poff of Durham, North Carolina, and Jenny Hollingsworth of Kennesaw, GA; one great grandson, Owen Poff; son in law, Phillip Hollingsworth of Kennesaw, GA.
A cherished member of Millview Church of Christ, her commitment to faith and community was evident in every aspect of her life. Above all, spending time with family was her greatest joy. Whether gathering for holidays, sharing everyday moments, or embarking on adventures together, family remained at the heart of her happiness. The beach held a special place in her life, offering relaxation, laughter, and treasured memories with loved ones. She leaves behind a lasting example of kindness and joy that continues to inspire all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Visitation with the family will be held at London Funeral Home and Crematory, 324 W. Church St., Lewisburg, TN, on Sunday, February 1, 2026, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
Funeral Service will be conducted on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of London Funeral Home and Crematory with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.
