Adeline "Addie Mae" Mae Britt  Adeline Mae “Addie Mae” Britt, 11, made her debut on her own terms in Tupelo, MS, on November 11, 2014. Born with a brain malformation called Holoprosencephaly, she defied medical expectations by living far beyond birth. Though she never spoke a word, she had a knack for expressing herself with a perfectly timed side eye or a mischievous smile. On Saturday, January 24, 2026, she peacefully passed away in her bed. She will be deeply missed by many.

Addie Mae is survived by her parents, Tiffany Trotter and her husband Jacob, and Jacob Britt and his wife Laurie; her siblings, Savannah Anglin and her husband Zack, and Jackson Britt; her grandparents, Tim and Dianne Baker, Doug and Brenda Stone, and Anthony and Mylet Trotter; her great-grandmother, Ola Mae Holmes; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, including Crystal Wood and her husband Pat, Michael Baker and his wife Michelle, Benjamin Trotter and his wife Stephanie, Rebekah Trotter, and Megan Anstine and her husband Reese.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jerry Britt.

Her family is planning a memorial service, which will take place at a later date.
