Minnie Elizabeth Peppers, a woman of unwavering Christian faith and remarkable strength, passed away Monday, January 26, 2026 at the age of 91.
Minnie and her husband, J.L. Peppers, who preceded her in death in 2015, shared many years together building a family grounded in love, faith and hard work.
She is survived by her six children: Janice (Cledeth) Chamblee, Cynthia (Gary) Ivey, Nancy Peppers, Jennifer (Tim) Howard, Jeff (Jennifer) Peppers, and Greg (Celeste) Peppers; nine grandchildren: Beth Chamblee, Leslie (John) Robertson, Stephanie (Benjamin) Brewer, Payton Howard, Austin Howard, Emily (Joshua) Whaley, Landen Peppers, Ashlyn Peppers, and Jayden Peppers; and three great-grandchildren: Ivy Robertson, Aubree Brewer, and Logan Robertson; all of whom were a source of immense pride and joy to her.
Minnie will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her, and her legacy of faith, love, and devotion will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
Her funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, January 30, 2026 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. Bro. Wayne Brooks and Bro. Morrell Upchurch will officiate her service. She will be laid to rest at Memory Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Benjamin Brewer, John Robertson, Austin Howard, Joshua Whaley, Landen Peppers and Tim Howard. Honorary pallbearer will be Logan Robertson. The family will accept friends on Thursday evening from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and Friday afternoon from 12 p.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m.
