Mrs. Shirley Joyce Blair, age 89, of McMinnville passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026. She was born on February 27, 1936 in McMinnville, TN and was a member of Providence Baptist Church. She was a CNA nurse most of her life and enjoyed what she did. Her family brought her the most joy and she cherished the memories she made with her kids and grandkids. She was a wonderful cook and her kitchen always had the best aromas. She is preceded in death by her parents Fred James Wilson and Aldena Whiteaker Wilson, her husband Joe Davis Blair, and sister Mozelle Green.
Survivors include her children Bridget Blair (Rodger), Patty (Terry) Boyd, and Lynn (Janet) Blair, grandchildren Trevor (Jessica) Yancy, Tyler (Leia) Blair, Dylan (Hailey) Blair, Clint (Linli) Boyd, and Julie (Chris) Hyder, great grandchildren Barrett Yancy, Aston Yancy, Ryder Blair, Leilynn Blair, Talon Blair, Riley Blair, Olivia Blair, Luke Boyd, Anna Boyd, Betsy Boyd, Kirsten (Alec) Jarvis, and Bailey Hyder, sister Connie Burton and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service for Mrs. Shirley Blair is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 28, 2026 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Jonathan Womack will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Blair will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until service time at 1:00 P.M.
