Edith June Brown, age 98, of Five Points, TN passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Keestone of Lawrenceburg. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired beautician, and a member of Bonnertown Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by parents, Crutcher and Minnie Belew Ezell; her husband, W. O. Brown; and seven siblings, Selma Mink, Wallace Ezell, Reavis Ezell, Wylodene Boston, Marie Thomas, Nellie Townsend, and Garner Ezell, Sr.
She is survived by one daughter, Donna Kimbrough (Thomas); one son, Jeff Brown (Patricia); three grandchildren, Tina Shelton Neese (Jason), Christie Shelton Hooper (Mike), and Wes Brown; three great-grandchildren, Kinley Jones (Lynsey), Dalton Neese (Callie), and Cydney Jones, one great-great-grandchild, Jordan Knox Jones; and four siblings, Martha Nelson, Jean Vandenbos, Betty Evans, and Sam Ezell.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Arden Hospice, Sandy Palmore, and the Keestone staff.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM Friday, January 23, 2026, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Friday, January 23, 2026, with Chris Joiner officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN. The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
