Funeral service for James Edward Brown, age 91, of Trinity will be 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service. Interment will be in Midway Memorial Gardens. Guestbook available at www.parkwayfunerals.com.
Mr. Brown, who died Monday, January 19, 2026, at NHC Moulton, was born September 2, 1934, in Alabama to Edward Leonard Brown and Nelly Humphries Brown. He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Marie Ricks Brown; son, Eddie Brown; parents; and three sisters, Edith Howell, Juanita Smallwood, and Marian Cartee. He thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and he was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan.
He is survived by two sons, Jimmy Brown and David Brown; sister, Martha Posey; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
