Ronald Gene McGregory, 78, of Tuscumbia, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 20, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Wednesday, January 21, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield.
Ronald was a native and lifelong resident of the Shoals and was a disabled veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a retired pipefitter with Pipefitters Local 760 and a Sheffield High School graduate class of 1968. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Billie McGregory and twin brother, Donald McGregory.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Elizabeth Harrison McGregory; children, Shannon Wade McGregory (Carla), Brent McGregory, and Chad McGregory; sister, Judy Wann (Mike); grandchildren, Carson McGregory (Brittney), Sydney Mann (Cody), Addison Horton, Sam Wright, Jack Wright, and Reagan Wright; great-granddaughter, Scarlett Mann; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Sean Terry, Patrick Wann, Carson McGregory, Cody Mann, Josh Landers, and Mark McGregory.
