Funeral Services for Betsy A. Wills Graben, age 88, of Lineville will be held on Saturday January 17, 2026 at 12:00 PM at Barfield Baptist Church with Bro. David Holcombe and Bro. John Howell officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Mrs. Graben will lie in state at Barfield Baptist Church from 11:00 AM until service time at 12:00 PM.

Betsy was born in Coleta Valley, graduated from Bibb Graves High School, drove a school bus for over 40 years, and also worked out of her home for many years as a beautician, so she could be there to help raise her son’s and help her late husband James with the family business “Graben Wood Products”. She also enjoyed quilting, sewing and making alteration for anyone that asked. Betsy and James loved to travel, and took their sons on adventures to Canada, Maine, Seattle, and Alaska in a pick-up truck with a camper on the back, and later “moved up in the world” and purchased a big motorhome and joined a camping club.

She was survived by her sons, Tony Graben (Katrina) of Southside and Andy Graben (Beverly) of Oxford; her grandchildren, Adam Graben (Jayme), Kevin Graben (Kimberly), Taylor Finch (Austin), and Raeleigh Bowden; great-grandchildren Seth, Ella, William, Charlotte, Joseph, Salem, Bentley, and Jordiann; sisters, Maurine Brewer of Talladega and Jane Shaddix (Elton) of Alexander City; two brothers, Huie Wills (Mavis) of Ashland and Louie Wills (Maxine) of Alexander City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Wills and Beatrice Stewart Wills, her husband of 54 years, James Graben and ten brothers and sisters.

Active Pallbearers will be Adam Graben, Kevin Graben, Seth Graben, Jeff Smith, Nic Windsor, and Dewayne Wills.

The family will receive friends at Barfield Baptist Church Saturday from 11:00 until service time at 12:00 P.M.
