Photo of Leamon Bolan Joseph Leamon Bolan, age 85 of Moulton, passed away January 14, 2026 at Princeton Hospital in Birmingham. He was born September 23, 1940, to James Henry and Francis Elizabeth Weaver Bolan Johnson. Leamon was a devoted family man whose love for his family and his faithful dog defined his life. Selfless by nature, he always put the needs of others before his own, never hesitating to lend a hand or offer support. He found joy in the simple things—squirrel hunting and fishing were among his favorite pastimes, moments when he felt most at peace. Above all else, his grandchildren were his greatest hobby and his proudest joy; nothing made him happier than time spent with them. Known for his great sense of humor, he could always bring a smile or laughter to those around him. His kindness, laughter, and love will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Visitation will be held Sunday January 18, 2026, starting at 1:00 – 2:00 PM at Moulton Heritage Funeral Home where a service will be held at 2:00 PM. Burial will be at Moulton City Cemetery, Moulton, Alabama. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
