Larry Davidson Blackwell, age 71 of Oakman, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Earnest Chapel Cemetery. Darrin Reynolds will officiate.
Mr. Blackwell was preceded in death by his Father-Major Blackwell; Mother-Dera Lee Blackwell; Anna Lou Blackwell; Bobbie Sandford; Mother-in-law-Glenda Morris; Father-in-law-Willie Morris.
He is survived by his Wife-Samantha Blackwell; Son-Pete Blackwell (Jennifer); Sisters-Ludie Jane Allen (Tim) and Rhonda Kay Whitehead; Brother-Phillip Blackwell (Lisa); Brother-in-law-Darren Morris (Diane); Grandchildren-Destiny Blackwell (Thomas), Levi Blackwell (Laylah) and Riley Blackwell; Great Grandchild-Leah Blackwell.
Pallbearers will be Phillip “Bumper” Blackwell, Johnathan Martin, Dillon Morris, Jacob Johnson, Isaiah Allen, John Blackwell and Aidan Martin.
