Judy S. Johnson went home to our Lord on January 13, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Agnes Sherrill, and her husband of 31 years, Billy Johnson.
Judy was born in McComb, MS and graduated from Ole Miss with a teaching degree. She taught various places but retired from Lee High School where she taught English and Accounting and sponsored the flag core squad.
She enjoyed church activities, scrapbooking, quilting, and especially traveling!
She married Bill in 1985, and they both loved grilling out and having family over (but mostly the grandchildren!), and entertaining friends.
She leaves four stepdaughters, Christie J. Thompson, Karen J. Jacobs (Steve), Laurie Johnson, and Leslie J. Forbes (Earl); five grandsons; one granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church in Huntsville at a date to be determined.
