Nora Lee McCune, 90, of Elkmont, passed away on Sunday, January 11th, 2026, Elk River Health and Nursing Center. Mrs. McCune was born on June 4th, 1935, in Lauderdale County, Alabama, to Samuel and Lily (Chandler) Baker.
Mrs. McCune is survived by her daughters, Nancy Morris and Brenda Willis; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; sister, Frances Dyers; and Allus.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Baker and Lily Chandler Baker Coots; husband, William Richard McCune; six children; and numerous brothers and sisters.
A funeral service for Mrs. McCune will be Saturday, January 17th, 2026, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be Saturday, from 12:00 to 1:45 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be at Reunion Cemetery.
