Daniel “Dan” Earnest, age 71 of Parrish, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Walker Memory Gardens. Bill Martin and Joe Fowler will officiate.
Mr. Earnest was preceded in death by his Parents-Georgie and Stancil Earnest; Sisters-in-law-Virginia Earnest, Betty Sue Earnest and Patsy Earnest.
He is survived by his Wife of 31 years-Tara McLemore Earnest; Sons-Daniel Allen Earnest (Christy), Jason Matthew Earnest (Lynn) and Joshua Robert Green (Kathryn); Brothers and Sisters-Foster Earnest (Diane), Jimmy Earnest (Barbara), William Earnest, Carrie Hill (Robby), Betty German (Ricky) and Stanley Earnest (Melissa); Granddaughters-Ella Earnest, Madilyn Earnest, Harper Earnest, Millie Green and Nora Green; Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Pallbearers will be Scotty Hill, Steve Earnest, Milton McDonald, Brian Earnest, Thomas Earnest and John Allen.
