Funeral service for Helen Virginia Stroup Kirby, 89, will be Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Donnie McDonald officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 13, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kirby passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born May 6, 1936, in Morgan County, to Curtis Belvie Stroup and Eva Lee Stover Stroup.
Helen was a homemaker for her family. She was a loving mother and devoted wife. She loved all animals, working in her yard and gardening. She enjoyed going to the beach on vacations.
Preceding her in death were her husband- Billy Kirby, her parents, and sisters- Beverly McDonald and Jerrie Legg.
Survivors include
her Daughter – Tarian Kirby,
and her Sister – Joann Robbins
Pallbearers will be Dwight Legg, Pacer McDonald, Mike Draper, Bobby Crawford, Josh Collier, and Garrett Legg.
