Barbara Ann Johnston, age 82 of Carbon Hill, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026 at her residence.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Scott Cemetery. Greg Tinker will officiate.
Mrs. Johnston was preceded in death by her Husband-Rev. Trenton Johnston; Father-John Pate; Mother-Myrtle Pate; Brother-Marlin Pate; Sister-Margie Handley; Brothers-Estall Pate, Gene Pate, Aaron Pate, William (Bob) Pate and Jerry Pate; Sister-Audrey Alexander.
She is survived by her Sons-Brian Johnston (Vicky) and Barry Johnston; Daughter-Angela Johnston; Grandchildren-Jeffrey Johnston (Angela), Alexandra Esch (Hunter), Kaci Dukes, Samuel Johnston, Jessica Johnston, Mary Johnson (Bradley), Riley Johnsey, Maxwell Johnsey and Cooper Johnsey; Great Grandchildren-Rebecca Johnston, Harley Longway, Emma Johnston, Addison Esch, Fisher Esch and Stetson Dukes; Sister-Sheryl Wakefield; Sister-in-law-Bernice Pate.
