James Stephen Polly of Pulaski, TN, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at NHC Brink in Lawrenceburg, TN, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Pulaski, TN on May 31, 1969 and was 56 years old.
Steve was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and son. He was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed deer hunting, grilling, and sitting around a fire making s’mores. He loved to tinker on cars and just about anything that may need to be worked on and had a passion for teaching others as well. Above all, Steve enjoyed to spend time with his family and friends who loved him dearly.
The visitation will be Saturday, January, 10th, 2026 from 11:00am to 1:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
A memorial service will follow at 1:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.
Steve was preceded in death by his father, Terry Polly, Grandparents, James and Ruby Hasting, and Ostine and Helen Polly, and Father-in-law, Marvin Forshey, Sr.

Mother, Judy Polly of Kedron, TN
Daughter, Whitney Polly of Kedron, TN
Son, Blake Polly of Kedron, TN
Grandchildren, Julia and Jamie Polly
Several other family members and friends also survive.
