Dennis Bentley, 80, died on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at his residence. He was born August 18, 1945, in Cullman County, to Foster Lee Bentley and Geneice Brown Bentley.
He was a great carpenter for more than 30 years, and was employed by Phoenix Fixtures, prior to his retirement. He was an Alabama Fan, and enjoyed NASCAR, loved to make gadgets, scuba diving, but more than life, loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a United States Veteran.
Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother- Jimmy Bentley, and a sister- Loretta Banks.

Melissa Spurgeon,
Sister – Sherlene Russell,
Six Grandchildren –
Faith Strohm (Seth), Krislyn Wood,

Brantley Virgin, and Landen Spurgeon.
Four Great Grandchildren –
Cailynn Ellison, Laylah Scott,
Bodhi Scott, and Roblyn Scott,
