
Danny Earl Ewing, 70, passed away Friday, January 2, 2026, at the North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice. He was born December 18, 1955, in Fulton to Benjamin Elgar and Bessie Beatrice Buchanan Ewing. He retired from Cooper Tire after over 29 years of service. Danny was a member of the Fulton Church of God of Prophecy. He loved snacking on peanut butter and crackers and being around his family and his dog Lola.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 6, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Jim Jackson and Bro. John Holliday officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lisa Jackson Ewing; his daughter, Elishia Parker (Mike) of Mooreville; his son, Matthew Ewing (Nesha) of Fulton; his brother, Billy Joe Ewing (Barbara) of Fulton; seven grandchildren, Austin Parker (Morgan), Brayden Parker (Audrey), Austin Ewing, Emma Ewing, Elijah Brannon, Hayden Ewing, and Benjamin Ewing; three great-grandchildren, Kinsley Parker, Everleigh Ewing, and Remi Parker; and a daughter-in-love, Brooke Ewing.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Elizabeth Ewing.
