Jerrie T. Alexander, 84, of Collinsville, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2025. A faithful member of Collinsville Baptist Church since 1964, Jerrie was a prayer warrior. She was a friend to all – whether you knew her as Jerrie Mae or Granny or Mama Jerrie – you knew that you were loved and accepted by her. She was “everybody’s mama in Collinsville” and immediately after her passing it was said “I can’t imagine a Collinsville without Jerrie Alexander in it.” Her kindness, selflessness, and generosity, which spanned multiple generations, will live on in those who knew and loved her.
