Donnie Ray McGuire, 77, of Ardmore, Alabama went to his heavenly home after a brief illness on Monday, December 29, 2025.
Donnie was born on May 22, 1948, to R.B. McGuire and Pauline McGuire.
He spent his whole life in the Ardmore community where he was a member of Community Baptist Church. In his younger years, Donnie enjoyed being in the outdoors hunting and fishing. In his later years, he found joy in working around the yard, watching Alabama football, and spending time with his grandchildren whom he loved very much.
Donnie is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Richard McGuire and J.C. McGuire, as well as four sisters: Dorothy Hobbs, Sarah Morningstar, Barbara Tremmell and Helen McGuire.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carol McGuire, two daughters, MeShae (George) Bogue and Stephanie (Brandon) Mullins, two brothers, Carl (Joan) McGuire and Jimmy (Judy) McGuire, four grandchildren: Grayson, Anna, Sara, and Deacon, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A visitation for Mr. McGuire will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Community Baptist Church in Ardmore, Alabama. A Celebration of Life is scheduled to follow visitation with service time beginning at 3:00 PM. Bro. Steve Hargrove and Bro. Steve Ledbetter will officiate the service.
