Wilda Joyce (Wasson) Beck ObituaryWilda Joyce Wasson Beck was born April 12, 1938 in Carlisle, KY to the union of the late William and Bertha Robinson Wasson. She was united in marriage to Larral Thomas Beck on July 24, 1958. These two were blessed with three children, Julia, Carlos, and Rina. One of her greatest joys was being able to stay at home and take care of her children, husband, and home. Mrs. Beck was a lady of many talents. She enjoyed working with her hands and crafting. She was the true epitome of a southern lady. If you had known her for very long, you had likely been invited to sit at her table for a meal she had prepared with love or been given something she had made, ranging from plastic canvas crafts to earrings, to something she had canned from the garden. She enjoyed having her home full of love and laughter as she was able to entertain and bring people closer together. While Mrs. Beck was proud of many things in life, her relationship with her Lord was paramount. She was a proud member of Deerfield Baptist Church and loved listening to gospel music, especially Southern Gospel Music. Mrs. Beck departed this life for her eternal reward on December 25, 2025 in Waynesboro, TN making her stay in this life some 87 years, 8 months, and 13 days.
