Janet Leigh Carrell Jackson, 73, of Trinity, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at her home.
Janet was born on June 10, 1952, in Decatur, Alabama, to William David Carrell and Marjorie Alberta Bland Carrell. She was a graduate of Decatur High School and a faithful member of Liberty Community Church in Moulton. Janet was an avid Alabama football fan—“Roll Tide”—and a devoted Elvis Presley fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Marjorie Bland Carrell; an infant brother, David Carrell; and her brother-in-law, Ricky Aycock.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 52 years, Bill Jackson; her daughter, Megan (Matthew) Chapman; her sister, Loquetta Aycock; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Liberty Community Church in Moulton on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., with Reverend Lynn Terry officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church.
