Larry Phillip Manly, 88, of Decatur, Alabama, passed away on December 21, 2025.
Larry was born on December 10, 1937, in Decatur, Alabama. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who deeply cherished his family. Larry will be remembered for his steady presence, his love for family, and the life he built rooted in his hometown.
He is survived by his children, Lisa Bullard (Barry), Melinda Miller (Tony), and Phillip Manly (Dina); his grandchildren, Haley Miller, Lindsey Banks, Jessi Smith (Jake), Callie Miller, Jordan Wallace, and Maggie Manly; and his great-grandchildren, Mason Smith, Brayden Smith, and Brynleigh Smith. He is also survived by his brothers, Ronald Manly (Gail) and Theron Manly (Lynn); his sisters, Lillian Sivley (Johnny) and Myra Stephenson (Ray); and a host of nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patsy Manly; his parents, L.G. and Avis Manly; his niece, Sonja Stephenson; and his nephew, Jamie Manly.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 26, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Shelton Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
