Barbara Ann McGough Stidham, 71, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Franklin County, AL to R.L and Ruth Elrod McGough. She worked in garment manufacturing for many years and was a member of First Baptist Church in Vina, AL.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 23, at 2 p.m. at Harmony Baptist Church with Bro. Steve Ledbetter officiating. Visitation will be Monday, December 22, beginning at 6 p.m. and continuing until service time Tuesday at Harmony Baptist Church. Burial will be in Halltown Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by three daughters, Sarah Ann Horton (Joel), Tesa Lee Stidham and Amy Jo Stidham (Shannon); grandchildren, Autumn Isabella Stidham, Billy Wayne Horton and J.T. Stidham; one great-granddaughter, Oakland Mae Stidham and three sisters, Rita Smith (Mike), Martha Wood (Sherman) and Betty Sue Pounders.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kennith Wayne Stidham; her parents and two brothers, David “Buck” McGough and Jimmy McGough.
Pallbearers will be Billy Wayne Horton, J.T. Stidham, Zackary Sparks, Trenton Gravitt, Mattox Armstrong and Daniel Jamison. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Smith, Dale Gravitt, Justin Sparks, Hunter Kutzley, Autumn Stidham and Oakland Stidham.
