Nancy Ann Guschke Newman, age 78 of Decatur, passed away on November 5, 2025, at her residence. Mrs. Newman was born on September 5, 1947, in Alabama to Walter and Bernice Wray Guschke. Nancy was an avid Thrift Store Enthusiast.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Jimmy” Newman; parents Walter and Bernice Wray Guschke; brother, Billy Guschke; sister, Pat Landers; granddaughter, Kathy Sparks. Nancy is survived by her children, Linda (Troy) Dugger, Lisa (Charlie) Daniel and Donna (Greg) Norrad; nine grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; siblings, Ken Newman, Karen, and Debbie (Blaine) Tornow; a host of nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Decatur Brown Service Funeral Home with Reverend Jimmy Meeks and Brother Dedrick Bradford officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
