A man fully devoted to spreading the Gospel, bringing others into a closer walk with Jesus Christ, and serving his community in countless ways, Rev. Robert Herman Hancock, age 93, entered into the promises he so faithfully preached and shared on Friday afternoon, December 12, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Mississippi, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family.
Funeral services celebrating the home-going of Rev. Hancock will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at the church he so faithfully built and shepherded, New Life Pentecostal Church. Visitation will take place from 5 PM until 8 PM on Monday evening at the church and will continue from 10 AM until the time of service on Tuesday. Rev. Hancock will be laid to rest in Tippah Memorial Gardens, with graveside services to follow.
