Jimmie Miller Profile Photo Jimmie Ledrew Miller, 86, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.  He was born in Monroe County, MS on June 13, 1939 to the late Ira and Lula Davidson Miller.  Jimmie was a graduate of Aberdeen High School, Class of 1957.  He honorably served in the Mississippi National Guard and later the United States Air Force, serving in Korea at the end of the Korean Conflict.  He married Robbie Wilbourne on December 28, 1982.  Jimmie was a hard worker and lastly retired from True Temper Sports as a security guard after 23 years of service.  He enjoyed being in the outdoors hunting and fishing, taking care of his farm animals and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.

Jimmie is survived by his wife of nearly 43 years, Robbie Miller; children, Ronnie Miller (April), West Memphis, AR, Matthew Miller, Pocahontas, AR, Richard Smith, Amory and Doris Jeffries, Athens Community; 8 grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Jimmie is preceded in death by his sisters, Laverne Jones and Elizabeth Bramlett.

Funeral services will he held at 1:30 PM on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at Athens Baptist Church with Bro. Willis Peek officiating.  Burial will follow in Howell Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Wiley Morgan, Adam Morgan, Tracy Callick, Preston Tubb, Doyle Brooks, Jr. and Glenn Brooks.

Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:30 until the service hour at 1:30 PM.
