Pamela “Pam” Lucretia Mancell Tackett, age 51, of Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, December 03, 2025, at her residence.
Pam worked as a cabinet maker at Sunshine Homes for several years. She was a very strong yet tender-hearted lady. She was always a hard worker but especially enjoyed working on the farm with the cows, the pigs, and working on fences. She never met a stranger and always had a smile on her face. We will treasure our memories of Pam.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Dennis Tackett; daughter, Faith Tackett; mother, Jeanette Lee Hardin; sisters, Janet Mancell Dicus (Jeff), Tammy Mancell Holland (Donny); best friend, Wendy Wiggs; in-laws, Tammy Tackett, Pete Padro, Peggy Gibas, Bobby Tackett, Dana Copeland (Jonathan), Rance Tackett; and a host of nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leslie Mancell; in-law, Connie Bahena and Rodney Tackett
No service is planned at this time.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff of North Alabama Hospice and to Dr. Stanley Keith Morrow and staff. Also, we want to thank Pam’s best friend, Wendy Wiggs, for all the love and care you have shown the family.
