Lois Kathlean Harrison, 86, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Red Bay, AL to Arlis Lindley and Gladys Wingo Lindley. Lois worked as a restaurant cook and was a member of Free Holiness Church.
Services will be Saturday, December 13, 12 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Samuel Tharp officiating. Visitation will be Friday, December 12, 5-8 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL. Burial will be in Joel Cemetery, Dennis, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by a daughter, Kathy Pruitt; two sons, Ronnie L. Harrison (Belinda) of Red Bay, AL and James “Tim” Harrison (Will) of Guntown, MS; two sisters, Martha Sparks of Belmont, MS and Sybil Tidwell of Haleyville, AL; one brother, Dean Lindley of Red Bay, AL; grandchildren, Sonia McKim (Randy) of Red Bay, AL, Cynthia Strickland of Pogo, AL, Rodney Pruitt (Chris) of San Francisco, CA, Dillon Harrison (Mary Beth) of Hazelhurst, MS, Tyler Harrison (Elizabeth) of Red Bay, AL, Carey Harrison (Jason) of Madison, AL and Andrew Harrison of Red Bay, AL; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Archie O. “Mutt” Harrison; son, Larry G. Harrison and three brothers, Billy, Jimmy and Harvey Lindley.
Pallbearers will be Randy McKim, Oscar Massey, Trey Daughtry, Isaiah Lindley, Noah Lindley and Shannon Lindley. Honorary pallbearers will be Aaron Daughtry, Jacob Pruitt, Rodney Pruitt, Dillon Harrison, Tyler Harrison and Andrew Harrison.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Deaton Funeral Home.
