Margaret was born July 02, 1938 in Delta, AL. She passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025. She was a native of Delta, Alabama. She graduated from Lineville High School in 1956. She married Earl Brown of Wedowee, Alabama and they raised their family in Forest Park, Georgia. Margaret was the most generous and kind person, who loved having fun. She worked with Higgins pants factory after high school. After her move to Georgia, she became a school secretary for Hendrix Drive Elementary school, where she loved her interaction with students and teachers. She served in various officer roles with the local and national PTA organization and was a member of the Forest Park Women’s club and Conley Baptist Church. She loved to be on the lake – fishing, traveling, cruising, and cheering on Jeff and Bailey at the drag racing track. But first and foremost, she loved babysitting and spoiling her two granddaughters, who will always call her Gran. For the past 12 years, she resided in Assisted Living homes, where she currently lived at Greenwood Place in Marietta, GA. She was well known and loved by all the residents and staff members. She was often heard daily shouting BINGO or Roll Tide. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter Becky Brown Jinks (John), and her son Jeffrey Earl Brown (Shawn), her two granddaughters Madison Jinks Persons (Andy) and Bailey Ann Brown. Her brother John Buckhannan (Carol) and her sister Audrey Watts and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Winmon and Irene Buckhannan, and her husband, Earl Frazier Brown.
