MORGAN COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident that has taken the life of a Waterloo woman and sent a 7-month-old baby to hospital.
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 7:40 p.m. Sunday, December 7, has claimed the life of a Waterloo woman.
Kayleigh V. Page, 29, was fatally injured when the 2021 Tesla Model Y Long Range, she was driving left the roadway, struck two trees, and caught fire. Page was pronounced deceased at the scene. A 7-month-old passenger was also injured and transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The crash occurred on Alabama 157 near the 17 mile marker, approximately one mile north of Battleground, in Morgan County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
