Kimberly Ann Wood age 55 of Athens passed away Wednesday at Athens Limestone Hospital. She was born July 18, 1970 in Detroit, Michigan, she was a retired caregiver.
Survivors include her Father, James Bob Reed Jr. Mother, Mavis Crawford Reed. Daughter, Patrisha (Kieffer) Compton. Grandson, Salem Kirkse. Special friend, Justice Kirkse. Sister, Kimberly Smith. Brothers, Jay Foster, Chadwick Foster, Benjamin Reed, Brian Miller and Jon Miller. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jason Reed, Noah Reed, James Bob Reed Jr.. and Jeremiah Smith. Husband, Victor Wood. Services will be 3 pm Saturday in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home with Brian Miller and Patrisha Compton officiating. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
