Ms. Lillie “Jane” Hollis, age 87, of Scottsboro, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. She was a member of Fellowship Methodist Church. She was a Gold Star widow from the Vietnam War, and was active in the jail ministry locally.
Ms. Hollis is survived by her daughter, Vickie Sutton; sons, Michael E. “Beans” Mitchell (Cathy), Randall Scott Mitchell, Tony Mitchell (Julie), Hester Hollis (Erin), Harlan Hollis; 19 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Lee Morris Hollis II, Robert Dewayne Hollis; parents, Tom and Winnie Inglis; 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Scottsboro Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at the funeral home with Rev. Brian Maxwell officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
