James White Keith, age 85 of Winchester, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at The Waters of Winchester. A native of Franklin County, he was born in Winchester on February 8, 1940, to the late John White and Daisy Dean (Roberson) Keith. A proud veteran, James served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring after twenty years as Master Sergeant. He then worked for eighteen years as an investigator for Dillards. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed working in his yard and gardening, as well as feeding and watching the birds. He also enjoyed watching Hee-Haw and Fox News. But most of all, he cherished the time spent with his beloved family. A Christian man, he was the oldest member, having attended since he was seven years old, of Goshen Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was gentle and kind, one that one “give the shirt off his back. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, John Keith, Thomas Keith, Mary Ruth Keith, Betty Amacher, Charlie Keith, Laura Wolfson, Albert Keith, and Evelyn Barton. James is survived by his loving and devoted wife of fifty-nine years, Judy Keith; son, Ralph Keith; siblings, Stanley Keith and Sybil Stuart; and grand-dog, Lily. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Goshen Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Dr. Joe Butler officiating. Interment will follow at Winchester Memorial Park with military honors bestowed. Moore-Cortner Funeral Home, 300 First Ave NW, Winchester, TN 37398, (931)-967-2222
