Funeral services for Mr. Jimmy Wayne Reeves, age 63, of Talladega will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland with Bro. David Holcombe officiating. Burial will follow Antioch Church Cemetery.
Mr. Reeves was born in 1962 and lived most of his life around Clay County. He worked at Wellborn for over 25 years before leaving with medical problems. He loved to fish and was always willing to help others. Jimmy loved his family and will be missed greatly.
He is survived by his mother, Irma Jean Mitchell (Calvin) of Talladega; two sisters, Anita Jean Johnson and Vanessa Renay Reaves (Greg); one brother, James Robert Reeves; plus a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, Robert Reeves.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Wood, Logan Wood, Eden Wood and Nick Meador.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home of Ashland before the funeral on Sunday from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M.
