FLORENCE-Throughout the year, our Santa Paws Christmas Market Coordinator scours various fairs and antiques shops looking for unique items of interest to be included in our Annual Santa Paws Christmas Market. You’ll find unusual gifts for family and friends suitable for all ages…AND everything is reasonably priced! There are handcrafted items, Household Gifts, Christmas Décor as well as stocking stuffers. Join us at the Market on Friday and Saturday, December 5 & 6 from 10am-6pm. The location is The First United Methodist Church, 415 N. Seminary Street, Fellowship Hall (Basement), Florence. Enter via the alley from Tuscaloosa Street between the Church and PNC Bank. Proceeds benefit Chloe’s Fund providing emergency medical care for Florence-Lauderdale Animal Services.
Chloe’s Fund was started in March of 2017 after shelter volunteers, Glen and Debby Nelson lost their beloved dog of 16 years, Chloe. After Chloe’s passing, the Nelsons and their friends set out on a mission to help as many sick and injured Florence-Lauderdale Animal Services animals as possible. Since its inception, Chloe’s Fund vetted and saved the lives of more than 600 animals suffering from various illnesses and in need of medical attention.
