Melvin “ David” Jones, age 73 of Lascassas died Friday November 28, 2025. He was a native of Knox County in Arminda Community, and was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin B. Jones and Mary Sue Travis Jones; sister, Wilma Reece; brother, Kenneth Jones; nephews Michael David Jones, Michael Chriss Jones.
Mr. Jones had a long career working with Water Treatment Plants across the United States. He retired from Consolidated Utility District. He was a devoted husband and G Dad.
Mr. Jones is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary “Sissy” Jones; children, Candice Jones, David Scott Jones and wife Elena; Grandchildren, Aden Charlton, Colver Jones, Caisley Jones, Sister, Shirley Hart and husband Steve; Brother, Chriss Jones and wife Sharon.
