Funeral services for Mrs. Carol Jean Barrett, age 79, will be held Monday, December 1, 2025, at 2pm in the chapel of Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home with Ronnie Coleman officiating. Burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held Monday, December 1, 2025, from 10am until service time in the chapel of Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home.
Mrs. Carol Barrett, a homemaker, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Avondale Healthcare and Rehab.
Mrs. Barrett is preceded in death by her husband Colin Barrett, her parents; Raymond and Jean (Barnes) Kolwyck, and a grandson Trapper Stewart.
Mrs. Barrett is survived by her three children; Tammy (Jackie) Stewart, Stacy Barrett, and Eddie (Heather) Barrett, two sisters; Cathy Cain and Phyllis Bolton, four grandchildren; Hunter (Autumn) Stewart, Hope (Josh) Hopper, Zeb (Brooklyn) Barrett, and Zoe Barrett, and seven great-grandchildren; Hannah, Caroline, Neyland, Margaret, Wrigley, Waylon, and Banks.
