It is with our deepest sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Dorothy Mae Conklin of Decherd, TN, on November 21, 2025, at the age of 88 years old.
Dorothy was born in Delray Beach, FL, to Ethel and Charles Johnson. She served as a missionary in Venezuela for 18 years with her husband Ronald Conklin and their five children. She loved reading and enjoyed working on crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles. She was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and earlier this year became a great-great grandmother.
Dorothy is survived by her brother, Harry Johnson; her five children, Gary Conklin (married to Rebecca Conklin), Glenn Conklin (married to Sally Conklin), Michael Conklin (married to Barbara Conklin), Candace Perez, and Christina Monin (married to Guy Monin); as well as many grandchildren.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Conklin, and two brothers, Paul Johnson and Tom Brown.
