Thomas Wilson Campbell passed away November 26, 2025, at the age of 75. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte of 57 years; his children, Tonna Heard (Roger) and Shon Campbell (Heather); his grandchild Bailey Rozell and great grandchild Kileigh Gatlin, brother James David Campbell and sister Betty Jo Whitman (Tommy).
He is preceded in death by his parents William Ernest Campbell and Gussie Mae Campbell.
He was born January 28, 1950, in Ardmore, Alabama, to parents William Ernest Campbell and Gussie Mae Campbell.
He graduated from Ardmore High School. He worked forty-four years as a ceramic tile setter. He loved hunting and playing sports with his children. He also loved spending time with his granddaughter and great-granddaughter. He cared for his garden for over fifty years. He loved God, his church and God’s people, and often visited prisons, nursing homes, hospitals, and revivals.
His faith and hope in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the lasting legacy he left for his family and friends.
The funeral will be held at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, 27186 East Main Street, Ardmore, AL 35739. Visitation will be held on November 28,2025, at 12:30 p.m. followed by the funeral at 1:00 p.m.
His favorite scriptures were Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end” and Psalms 23.
