Martha Gladys Scruggs Keith, the Matriarch of the large Keith family, met her Creator from NMMC in Tupelo on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025 after a period of declining health. She celebrated her 91 st birthday on October 17, 2025, having been born in l934. She spent many years working at Super Sagless but her most enduring role in life was that of a Mother, a grandmother and a great grandmother. She loved, doted over and protected and provided for her large family with warmth, assurance and passion. A devoted member of Valley Grove Baptist Church, she had spent many years in the ministries there. She was the widow of Dutch Keith who died in l959. Her life was filled with beauty, grace, hard work, a strong spiritual core and a love for all God’s creation.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, Nov. 28, 2025 from Valley Grove Baptist Church with her pastor, Bro. Greg Herndon officiating. Burial will follow in Valley Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 PM-service time on Friday, all at the Church. Holland Funeral Directors is honored to be serving the family. A full obituary will be posted later.
