A Celebration of Life Service for W. C. Smith is set for 2:00 pm Saturday at Brush Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Cody Hill, Bro. Titus Mathis, and Bro. Anthony Rowland officiating. Burial will follow in the Brush Creek Cemetery.
Family and Friends Gathering will be on Friday from 5:00 pm to service time Saturday at the church.
W. C. Smith died November 26, 2025, at his residence. He was born September 26, 1941, in Alcorn Co. to the late Arlin and Iren Smith. He was a lifelong member of Brush Creek Baptist Church, were he served as a Deacon for over 60 years. Over the years, he worked as a truck driver, logger and in the sawmill. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, A. J Smith, and Thomas Smith.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Evie Smith. Randy Smith (Maribeth), Henry Smith (Crystal); brother, Amos Smith (Kay); sister, Kathy Wilbanks(Tim) grandchildren, Jordan Smith, Carson Smith, Kaleigh Lambert, Austin Morrison, Layla Beth Smith, Aidan Smith; great grandchildren, Oaklynn, Johnny, Journey, Briley, Dannis, Little Henry; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
