John Lyndon Orr, age 61, of the Popular Springs community, passed away at his residence on November 24, 2025. He had faced illness for quite some time, and his family takes comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering. John was known for his steady strength and kind heart. He was a devoted husband, a proud and supportive dad, and a deeply cherished grandfather. He was born on December 19, 1963, to James and Nila Orr.
John is survived by his wife, Kathy Orr; daughters, Kim Orr (Richard) Eudy and Diane Orr; grandchildren, Jeremiah Eudy, Nehemiah Eudy, and Grace Eudy; and brother, Mack Arthur Orr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 28, 2025, in the Chapel of Adams Brown Service Funeral Home with Bro. Reggis Burns officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. High Baptist Church Cemetery in the Asbury community. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service, beginning at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
