Mildred Louise Webster, 80, of Athens, passed away on Friday, November 21st, 2025, at Athens-Limestone Hospital. She was born on May 22nd, 1945, in Alabama, to William and Leona (Walker) Blakely.
She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Martin (Chris); son, William “Billy” Webster (Shelley); grandsons, William Richardson and Putnam Webster; several nieces and nephews; and other family members.
Mrs. Webster was preceded in death by her parents, William and Leona Blakely; husband, R.D. Webster; brother, Homer Blakely; and sisters, Robbie Blakely and Sylvia Miller.
The graveside service for Mrs. Webster will be Sunday, November 23rd, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at Copeland Cemetery, with Keenan Braden officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. The burial will be at Copeland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be William Richardson, Putnam Webster, Joey Miller, Craig Henderson, Lee Blakely, and Chris Martin.
