Turner Eugene “Gene” Binkley age 78 of Greenbrier passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025. A Memorial Service will be held at 6pm on Monday, November 24th in the Chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Greenbrier with Bro. Jon Briggs officiating. The family will receive friends from 3pm until the hour of service at 6pm.
Gene was born March 25,1947 in Joelton, TN to the late Charles Clifford and Effie Luster Binkley. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Ann Nash.
He was an Army Veteran having served in Viet Nam. Gene loved people and having a good time. He enjoyed fishing, antiquing, metal detecting and being a UT fan and also loved his dog, Pepper.
He is survived by his wife, Madonna “Corky” Binkley; son, Stacey (Shelby) Binkley; daughters, Cheree (Doug) Spencer, Dena Martin, Tammy (Steven) Crawford; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and 2 on the way.
