Donna May Spivy, age 77, of Symsonia, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday evening, November 18, 2025, at 11:26 PM. She was born on May 4, 1948, in St. Marys, West Virginia, to James Douglas and Juanita Adams Snyder.
Donna was a devoted member of the Spring Creek Church of Christ and a dedicated retired high school teacher. Beyond loving her family, she treasured the years she spent later in life in adult education and was lovingly involved in Christian benevolence work.
Donna is lovingly remembered by her husband of 53 years, Stephen Spivy; two sons, John David Spivy of Brownsburg, Indiana, and Jason Andrew Spivy (Emily) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and one brother, Charles Snyder of Parkersburg, West Virginia. She is preceded in passing by her parents.
Funeral services honoring the life of Donna May Spivy will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 2:00 PM at London Funeral Home, 324 W. Church Street, Lewisburg, Tennessee, with burial to follow in Middleview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.
A memorial service is being planned for later within the community she lived at Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield.
